De Macross GT1- super car from Canada
Despite lacking own motor industry, in Canada occasionally appears cars about which all public speaks long time. Super car De Macross GT1 promises to become the next disturber of calmness.
Some years ago the automobile world was stirred up by news that in Canada is constructed three-local 1300 h.p super car Locus Plethore, at once received for the characteristics a nickname «Quebec bomb». Though bomb would be more pertinent to replace with a word "rocket". Looked Locus Plethore simply magnificently and at that point of time was one of the most beautiful sport cars of the world. And characteristics «Quebec bomb» were not less impressing, but after a while this project has ceased to submit life signs.
To make the way in elite super car creation the Canadian company De Macross Motor Corporation (DMMC) has decided to undertake the next attempt. Now sport car De Macross GT1 which will be made in 200 copies and, according to Canadians is almost prepared for small-scale manufacture, will make a competition to Italian Pagani Zonda. About the car while it is very small known. The engine located before a rear axle is 5,4-liter eight borrowed at American firm Roush Yates Racing Engines (it is known for the cooperation with commands of championship NASCAR).
Capacity of the motor is unknown, but it is possible not to doubt that Canadians and their American partners will squeeze out of the engine all possible and impossible. Monocook De Macross GT1 will be made of composit materials and aluminum, from the motor racing world also will borrow a suspender and transmission. While the car exists only in the form of model, and the first "live" super car will be shown in November, then its characteristics and the price become known. On it Canadians don't prepare to stop and in the future want to exhaust two more "budgetary" models which will compete with Ferrari 458 Italia and Porsche 911.
